Excellent and sad
Great performances in a riveting story. Kirk Douglas is thoroughly unlikable as the unscrupulous reporter so determined to claw his way back to the top that he cares nothing for the lives he endangers along the way. With a terrific package by Criterion, this is highly recommended!
