A: The chassis on this Spin 1 is plastic.
Q: Can we use the touchscreen pen to write in?
A: Using a capacitive touch type stylus you probably could, but it won't be a fine tip as you would get from a digitizer type stylus.
Q: can you increase the storage, i.e. by installing an m2 drive or ssd?
A: This model does not have an M.2 SSD slot. The 64GB eMMC drive is not upgradeable. You can add storage via a USB thumb drive or external hdd.

A: This is a touchscreen. The touchscreen works well.

A: You should be able to but keep in mind this laptop has 64GB storage so if you need more space for documents, you might consider using external USB storage such as a flash drive or external hdd.
