One day, a troop of armed Gorilla-Goos, led by General Snot, appeared at the temple seeking the legendary monkey idol, Kubla-Wa. Hearing stories of the idol, mainly that it was made of solid gold, the Gorilla-Goos seized control of the temple and were on the verge of taking it. Out of nowhere the smelly gorillas found themselves squaring off against Fling Kong, who used the masterful Monk-Ru techniques, his flying rug and vortex discs to defeat the Gorilla-Goos and save the idol. Soon, word of his actions spread to Master Eon, and Fling Kong was made a member of the Skylanders.
