After completing your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail that contains a redemption code. You can then schedule your appointment by calling 1-800-GEEK SQUAD (1-800-433-5778). Please print your Geek Squad confirmation e-mail and be ready when the Agent arrives at your chosen location.
- Before we begin: When we arrive at the site, we'll discuss the scope of work to ensure that services purchased meet your needs and expectations. If they don't, we'll recommend solutions.
- Configure Wi-Fi: We’ll change your router SSID to make it both generic (no mention of your name or address) and completely unique to you. Then we’ll update your administrator username and password.
- Wireless encryption: We prefer to protect your network by enabling WPA/WPA2 on your network, but we’ll use WEP if applicable.
- Connect devices: We’ll connect up to 4 devices to your network, like computers, tablets and mobile phones. Then, we’ll verify and test their functionality.
- Final steps: We’ll demonstrate how to use your new system and let you know how to contact us for future support.
