A: I would not grow cucumbers in this one, I would choose one of the Farm XL models for cucumbers, but yes anything you grow in the aerogarden you will be able to harvest from the aerogarden.

Q: Do you have to buy Aero-Garden seed pods? How much are they? Can you put your own seeds in the pods?
A: You can purchase the Aero-Garden Grow Anything Kit. It will allow you to grow just about anything. However, when selecting varieties of vegetables be sure to pay attention to the height and spread of the mature plant to ensure they will fit comfortably under the lights at maximum height. You'll find when doing this you can use only two or three pods.
A: I ordered my aerogarden 9 pod basoc from best buy just over a week ago and it came with mint, dill, Thai basil, chives, Italian parsley, curly parsley, thyme, and 2 of genovese basil. It arrived 5 days ago and I already have 3 pods starting to sprout.
