    Synopsis

    Alice
Director Nick Willing puts a new twist on Lewis Carroll's classic tale in this fantasy mini-series depicting Alice as a 21 year old women who ventures into Wonderland in search of a lost love. Almost immediately after presenting Alice (Catarina Scorsone) with an ornate family ring, handsome Jack Chase (Philip Winchester) is abducted by a pair of hulking brutes. Approached by a well-dressed man named White Rabbit (Alan Gray) who claims to know Jack's whereabouts, Alice follows the bearded stranger into a mirror and finds herself in a surreal new world of fantasy and wonder. When the Queen of Hearts (Kathy Bates) discovers her son bestowed a virtual stranger the ring that gives its owner power over the looking glass, it's up to Alice to determine what she should do with it. Harry Dean Stanton, Tim Curry, Matt Frewer, and Colm Meany co-star. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

      **Alice** As Seen On Syfy

**Alice** As Seen On Syfy Very cool new concept, liked the references to the original story. I like the way they have introduced a different possible story line, but yet still loosely follows the original story. Catarina Scorsone as Alice a nice touch, I think in some way she brings a new perspective to the character. Andrew Lee Potts as the Hatter totally didn’t see character coming full circle the way that he did. The limited special effects prove to be ok at best as they really don’t affect the story. Matt Frewer as the White Knight wow! Really cool to see him again, acting I mean. Remember Max Headroom? His character was a toss up between Max and a Monty Python type character, likable yet very caring. Not having released the DVD can't say much on the extras. Just wondered why it took so long to be released. Unexpected story ending

I just went to see the midnight release of Alice in Wonderland, the newest Tim Burton film, and I have to say, I loved the syfy version of Alice much better. I like the fact that it is inspired by the classic story, and doesn't follow the plot line we all expect of an alice story. A must have for my movie library!

Although there are a million and one ALICE movies out there, this one was an interesting twist. There is just enough occurances of the original ALICE to remind you what you're watching but the story is totally different.

I loved Hatter. My favorite character throughout the entire thing. Just like Tin Man, i loved this rendition of a classic story. It was clever and still interesting.
