Description
Mousepads are all about personal taste. You can buy one for status or cuteness or just because you like the picture on it, but the Accutrack Mousepad is all about performance. It has a ridged surface so it works better with both rollerball and optical mice. Let me say that again: It helps your mouse work better. It has a rounded shape, which really increases the usable mousing area. It's a hardtop pad with a non-slip base, so it won't slide around your desk. And it's really thin, so it gives your desk a neater appearance.

3 years running and still cool

I've been using this pad for the last 3 years or so at work. I bought it for it's rigid non-slip design and the cool graphix it's sporting. I am using it with a Logitech MX revolution mouse and have been loving it! Ample surface area and accurate response. My only complaint is that it seems to attract somekind of dirt that seems similer to adhesive you might find on the bottem of your mouse from where the slip feet are attached. However, it's been going on for a couple years or so now so and my mouse hasn't lost it's feet yet. I'm guessing it's from accumulated sweat and oils from your palm of your hand as you slide and rest it on the pad. No worries though. I just give the pad a good cleaning wipe every few weeks or so. Try cleaning your cloth covered pads that easily!

I test-drove this mouse pad for 1-week to see how it compared to my current model. All things considered, I was not impressed. Let's start off with what they did right:
The mouse pad was just about the right thickness, and hugged the desk well. Not once when I was using it did the mouse pad slip along the desk, and from my experience and from my friends who has owned one of these for over a year, I can safely say this mouse pad will last for quite awhile.
While these are all undeniably good things, the mouse pad underachieves where it really matters: the surface. I use a Logitech G9 laser mouse, and I got mediocre performance out of this mouse pad at best. The surface was both uneven and reflective, which threw off the laser more than a few times. I found my character spinning in a rapid circle staring at the sky whenever this occurred, which, as any FPS gamer will know, usually means death. However, when I down-graded to an ball mouse, I got much better performance than expected. The surface was designed for older mice models it seems.
All in all, if you use a ball mouse, or if you aren't that interested in gaming, this is a pretty durable mouse pad that it is hard to go wrong with. Any gamers out there can do much better at this price line, though.

I had gotten this mouse years ago when I was playing WoW. It lasted months before my first problems happened. The mouse pad retained glue from the mouse which just keep sticking to it no matter how many times I cleaned it. But that wasn't even the big problem, the mouse pad started to come off from its rubber bottom. This showed to me that it was not made properly. Re-gluing the gloss top to the bottom part worked but for only a few days and another spot came off. So super glue wasn't even capable of holding the surfaces together. They should have thought of a better design. The bubbling up part would be so bad except that it moves the mouse above how high the sensor can see. So for fast gliding action can not be possible.Another problem is that the pad is curved to your hand so its in the middle, but the edges are sharp so after only 30 minutes my wrist is scratched up. If they smoothed the edges it wouldn't be a problem.

Its a nice all around mouse-pad. The surface is hard and slightly textured, but the bottom has a no slip foam on the bottom that keeps it from moving.

I've owned this pad for a few years. I have now noticed that the optical mouse is not tracking properly. The reason for this is because the pad itself has warped so it has a U shape to it. It's not exposed to sun, kept in a climate controlled environment. Now I'm shopping for another pad will not buy this pad again.

Since day one this mouse pad has never laid flat. It warped after a few hours out of the package and has never returned to a completely flat state. Since this a hard surface I wasn't expecting it to warp as much as it has. It seems to track well with optical mice but due to the warping I've never used it more the a few minutes. Not Recommended.
