A: The difference between a new iPad 128GB and an iPad Pro 256GB is about $370. (There is no current iPad Pro 128GB model.) More seriously, the main differences are camera (8MP versus 12MP), slightly better graphics, higher possible user storage on the Pro, and size. They use the same processor.

A: That’s internal memory that it comes with the tablet if you take a lot of photos and videos. You better off getting the 128gb. But just be prepared for Apple to say you need to buy more storage, which depending on what you need it’s really, really expensive..

A: I went to the customer service desk with my old iPad where they issued me a gift card to be used anywhere in the store. Then I went and to the Apple display part of the store to purchase my new iPad. So yes, my experience was that the credit in the form of a gift card was immediately available to purchase my new iPad.
