Well, I finally switched from android to Apple and I think this was the best time! I use a Mac computer at home, so it only makes sense to have an iPhone but I have been using android Samsung phones forever but my last phone (Note 20 ultra 5G) was so disappointing and I had so many problems I just couldn’t see buying another Samsung product so I decided to switch to Apple. This was the best decision I have ever made when it comes to cell phones, the experience has been phenomenal! It was a bit of a price plunge having to change all of my connecting devices such as my watch ultra and AirPods, but everything has worked perfectly so far even better than I had expected! If you were on the fence and thinking of switching to Apple now is the time! Not only has the iPhone experience been amazing in every detail the first photo I took with the phone I gasped and covered my mouth when I saw the image, I haven’t seen photo quality like that except for when I use my Cannon 5D DSLR! The camera and video is so impressive, it is literally jaw dropping! Everything works seamlessly with my Apple account and everything synced up just as I had expected. No more digging through my keychain to find passwords to add to my Samsung account and no more dodgy SMS and android limitations. I will miss the pen on my note 20 ultra but I’m getting used to using my finger for drawing and creating documents. The 5G experience on T-Mobile has been much faster than with the note 20 ultra, I’m seeing Gig Speeds when close to 5G towers on download. There is a slight learning curve with the Apple device, but everything is very intuitive! I actually find myself having to correct myself from bad habits learned on android devices, like trying to capitalize the first letter of a sentence when Apple does this automatically. I do miss the flip case that I had on my Samsung phone that had the LED time but Apple now has always on display, which makes up for it. The new Apple Silicon really pushed the Apple phones ahead of the curve when Apple was usually behind the curve that was keeping me from switching. I understand that the Samsung phones are still ahead of the curve on display, pixel density, etc. but honestly, I can’t see the difference with my naked eye and as I’m getting older now it doesn’t really matter to me anymore. Today I’m more impressed with function and photo quality and Apple checks all the boxes. Sure Samsung may have a better telephoto camera lens but I’ve never seen a picture on my Samsung phone that made my jaw drop and I had to cover my mouth, yea it’s that good, don’t believe me try it yourself! It’s kind of funny that I was an android fan boy back in the day and used to laugh at how Apple phones were always so behind the curve on everything, but times have changed, and Apple Silicon is a game changer! I’ve never edited 4K footage on my phone before but yes, the iPhone 14 Pro Max can do this! Everything is faster on this phone even the Amazon app when looking up orders is nearly instantaneous, a lot of the apps that I used on my android phone, are now much snappier and quicker, sure this is to be expected from any next generation phone but I swear to God, this phone knows what I’m thinking, and does intuitive things I didn’t even think were possible. So yes, I am shocked at how well this phone works and how much I’m enjoying it, it has far exceeded my expectations and it looks like I’ll be getting an Apple iPhone from now on. Samsung and android will have to do something unbelievably jaw-dropping to get me to switch back.
