A: I just bought Model MQ002LL/A which is this same computer in space grey. The description on the web site says this is a i5 processor but we had them pull the box and read the specs. MQ002LL/A (Grey) and MQ012LL/A (Silver) have the dual core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM and the TouchBar with Finger ID. Based on the serial number of the one I bought these are 2017 production models.

Q: Can I trade in a MacBook Air, to go towards the purchase of this new computer?
A: Yes. I traded my MacBook Air in for the new MacBook Pro.
A: When you pay for it make sure it’s the device you want and have it sent to the store for pick up—that way you can have a person there to inspect the device with you. My Pro is the i7 and 16 gigs—verified in a number of ways...

A: No. It is the 2017 model.
