Quality4 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I have loved having this Mac book pro. Although the last several weeks there has been lines going across the screen occasionally and sometimes my documents will pull up all discolored and fuzzy. I will call Best Buy to see what is happening with it. Hopefully an easy fix.

First time Mac user

Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5So I purchased this March 6th and not even a month after a new model came out and it was passed the date to return to get the new model. I wish Apple sales person would have told me to wait because a new model was coming out and I would have gotten more storage. I had to buy an external hard drive and an external device to connect anything with USB connection. It really should have at least 1 usb plug but quality and experience is smooth so far.

Very disappointed
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality2 out of 5Value2 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5Works great most of the time. Already having keyboard and software issues. Been on the phone with Apple and have to make an appointment. Key caps are manufactured with defects the U key has a bump in it and you can see the light coming through from underneath. “see photo” and sticking delete key. Computer also won’t update apps and software. Over a decade with Apple products. Pretty disappointed and hoping to get this resolved. Only 3 weeks old.

Q: Question1. Is 8gb of ram fast enough for video editing? 2. Gaming laptop?
Asked by zeebuzzy.
- A:Answer Yes, only if you're editing within iMovie or Final Cut Pro. Apple's propietary software are optimized to their hardware for efficient video editing. If you're using Adobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve, you will notice that the fans kick in faster and louder and your ram usage is pretty much at full max. You'll have to optimize the imported media with a bunch of hocus pocus within 3rd party apps for smooth scrubbing. Stick to iMovie or Final Cut Pro within editing on a Macbook Pro. Hope this helps.
