Q: Will bestbuy carry a new 32gb ram mcbook pro? Do they have an option to build one? (2 answers)
A: I was told they will eventually carry all models. Unfortunately you can't change the memory on the website.- A: There are more use cases than just 8K video for 32GB of RAM. I run a lot of VMs simultaneously and 32GB of helpful for that. A lot of people are probably wanting to spend the extra few hundred bucks for the added RAM since it's not upgradable.
- A: Absolutely! I do video editing and 3D modeling and rendering on this machine.
Q: isn't this suppose to be a icore 9 not icore 7 ? (2 answers)
A: The i9 has to be ordered from apple or a official reseller that takes custom orders. Right now the i9 is not available anywhere over the counter and has to be special ordered. The same goes for the 32gb of RAM option. The i9 is really an i7 that intel deemed to be the cream of the crop, so its clock speeds were raised up. IMO, Unless you are editing 4k for post production you really do not need the i9.- A: Not really. The game runs like crap with the 560 under OSX. With Medium settings you'll be running around 40-50 FPS. If you install Windows via Bootcamp you will be able to manage 70'ish FPS at medium settings. If you're spending this much money on a laptop and want to play games on it, you're better off with a Razer Blade 15.
- A: Yes, you can get an Indian adapter rather the US adapter for this Macbook.
