Answer a call from your surfboard. Ask Siri to send a message. Stream your favorite songs on your run.¹ And do it all while leaving your phone behind. Introducing Apple Watch Series 3 with cellular. Now you have the freedom to go with just your watch.
A: If you want to use your watch INDEPENDENTLY from your phone, you must purchase the Apple3 Cellular capability watch. The store will set up your cellular watch; they will contact AT & T who will activate the additional service for your new device. Very important, during installation (pairing the watch with the Watch App on your Iphone) you must be sure to go to the CELLULAR option on the App and TURN IT ON.. In order to do that you must have your AT& T User Name and Password to enter. (If you don't have this, very simple, go to AT&T website for how to create your username and password) Once you have entered that data on your Iphone Watch App, cellular service will automatically be activated on your watch. You will be able to make and to receive calls without the presence of your phone, i.e. when your phone is out of range or turned off.It also works with your phone when it's in range. For complete info, go to the Apple Website and ask your questions. Great website. Very simple. Very clear. I love my Apple3 Cellular Watch. It's amazing. Hope this has been helpful. By the way, Apple also has a User Guide on line. You can download and print, or just download to your phone or consult whenever you want.
Q: Hi , what’s the difference between the 38 mm and the 42 mm? Thanks
A: The 38mm watch face is smaller than the 42mm. Generally, women wear the 38mm and men choose the 42mm
Q: How do you know if the watch is a lite version?
A: This is the stainless steel model with sapphire glass. The glass is much better than the ion glass on the sport model. The sport model is lighter and less expensive but the ion glass scratches fairly easy. The sport model comes in gold, black and silver aluminum and in the Nike versions I had a series 1 sport model for a short time and it got pretty scratched. I upgraded to the stainless steel model and never got a single scratch on the glass and I am very hard on watches. The ones with the red dot on the digital crown are the cellular models.
A: Yes, but you must make sure you are purchasing the LTE version of the watch. As there is a model of Apple Watch Series 3 that is NOT LTE compatible
A: Yes, you can use only the WiFi on the watch if you prefer.
Q: Do the band's from the previous models (series 1 &2) work with this model?
A: As long as it is the same size watch ( 38mm or 42mm) as the series 1 or 2 the bands will fit. The are interchangeable.
Q: Does this watch support the electrocardiograph and Afib?
A: undefined
Q: Does the phone take your heartbeat or mileage
A: There are apps for this watch to monitor heart rate and mileage.
