A: A cellular model allows you to use the watch with a SIM card which also allows you to use the watch independently from a phone.
Q: Does this watch require cellular service for it to receive text messages from my phone
A: If your I Phone is with you you will get the same texts and calls on your Series 4 GPS watch as on your phone (iphone 6 or greater is required). The more expensive Series 4 GPS plus cellular model, distinguished by a red ring on the watch knob, allows you to recieve calls and texts without having your phone with you—like if you are going on a run and don’t want to bring your phone phone along. Of course, you pay a monthly fee for this convenience.
Q: For emergency SOS. AND fall detection to BOTH work must u have GOS. AND cellular??
A: It works on BOTH GPS and Cellular! The clincher is on the GPS only watch, you need to have your cell phone within range if you fall. My GPS only band had to be setup and it instantly paired with my iPhone, but my phone can be across the house and downstairs and still connect with my watch.
Q: Is this a gold color or a rose gold?
A: Mine is a rosegold
A: I hated the band it came with. It was itchy and hard to take on and off. I would recommend getting one of their soft bands that they originally came out with they are soft and more durable. Or do the sports band.
A: I purchased open box watch. Listed as excellent condition. It means what it says. The package was opened and either returned or taken off display. Many companies have these items inspected and rated by independent evaluators and have them graded. I saved close to $100 and have been really happy. All parts were present and packaged.
Q: So do this model have cellular feature ?
A: No it doesn't. I always have my phone and don't need more added to my phone bill
Q: Can you use interchangeable bands on then watch with woven band?
A: Yes! All brands work as long as you buy the correct size
