    Synopsis

Mexico's gritty streets seethe in the blood of innocent victims. The air reeks of corruption. Anarchy reigns supreme. Clenched in the grip of a vile drug cartel, the nation languishes, torn apart by war. But the filthy drug lords who rule the city streets are about to finally get their due — hand-delivered through the barrel of your gun. You're one-half of a deadly, sharp-shooting team that has one main objective — to purge Mexico of its criminal scum. Arm yourself to the teeth, pull down your mask and don't stop shooting until the job is done.

The franchise that originated tactical co-op is back with a vengeance in Army of TWO: The Devil's Cartel. This unique third-person shooter gives you double the firing power, pairing you with a partner in combat. Mastering potent team-based tactics like flanking, dual-breaching, riot-shield attacks and more, you'll work together to inflict major damage in the drug-dealing world. The devastating Overkill mode, built on the new Frostbite 2 engine, puts extreme destructive power in your hands for every successful team maneuver you accomplish. You're sure to make an explosive entrance on the scene when you're armed with the deadly weapons and exclusive gear included in this Overkill Edition. Stock your arsenal with the fully automatic TAH-9 handgun, Double-D shotgun and specially skinned Day of the Dead AK-47, and outfit Alpha and Bravo with the included masks and outfits. Plus, with the Overkillers contract's additional missions, this package expands your campaign right from the start. Mexico doesn't need a miracle — all it takes is an Army of TWO.

Decent game with a wide variety of weapons and upgrades for your tactical equipment, but the story line is horrible. The setting stays the same in the same city. Very monotone colors. Seems like playing same level over and over again. No independence in gameplay. every step is already planned out for you. This game is good if you have friends over and you just want to rip a drug cartel base somewhere in the middle of no where. Fun to work together with other player. In my perspective I would get a different co-op game with more independence and variety in the story line. ARMY OF TWO 40TH DAY IS MUCH BETTER>>> FYI

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Solid third person shooter which has a great aggro system allowing for affective team work. The story fits in very well with the previous stories. The roll to cover system takes a little getting used to but it has its uses also. Absolutly recommend this game and the other two I'm the series just make sure you play with someone else solo play has some flaws

Army of Two is a great series from customizing weapons to team gameplay. However, Devil's Cartel just throws out 90% of the previous gameplay in favor of run head first style game play. the "Agro" options of past games allowing your partner to sneak around is long gone. Overall fun but just not as good as previous games in the series.

Great game overall. Graphics and sound are nice. Storyline is great. And weapons load out is different and more updated compared to the prequel to this. I finished this a bit quickly though; however there are a few stages or points where it's really unnecessarily hard to complete. Looking forward to the next one!!!

This is the best game in the series! I have played all of them. Game play is a lot more versatile than the last 2. I like the overkill mode! I played it with my friend split screen and we had a blast! You can both upgrade your guns at the same time which you weren't able to do in the previous games. Get the game!

The game was good with all the fast acting and bad guys coming at you from all directions. Story i feel was better in the 2nd game, but still a good shooting game overall! Why do they feel ( the game makers) that bad language must be part of a military type game? NOT NEEDED, and still good player!

I liked the first 2 games on how they were not to realistic but really fun games. This one was more realistic and couldn't really control the computer player as well as you could in the first 2 game. Would recommend this game, but don't expect it to be like the first 2 games.
