A: Yes, one of the reasons I bought it. You can upgrade the 8 GB up to 16 GB easily. The back slides out to allow you to easily upgrade and replace the battery. Much better than having to upgrade the entire laptop.

A: No, it doesn't have a metal chassis.
Q: what is the process speed for this model?
A: The base processor speed is 1.8 gigahertz.
Q: It says that the ram can be upgraded to 20, but I only see 16?
A: Yes, the RAM can be upgraded to 20.
A: If you are adept at taking laptops apart, possibly. This laptop does not have a hard drive access panel like all laptops used to. It would have to be completely taken apart. If you really want this particular laptop, and need more storage, I would recommend purchasing an external hard drive for your storage needs. Otherwise I would recommend looking at a device that comes with more internal storage.
A: The ASUS Support site shows it is an option. The laptop sold at BestBuy doesn't come with a DVD/CC drive, and was not advertised as having one.
Q: What version of windows does thia come with? Is it extra for windows 10 Pro?
