A: The total height is 39.37''.

A: It held all of our dvds. It holds 16 per side of each cube, so 32 per cube.

A: Yes...the cubes are good quality wood...the connectors are strong plastic though
A: No, it does not come assembled, however, it is fairly easy to assemble. I assembled ours and found it quite simple.
