I have been a vinyl collector for the past 15 years. And I have had many turntables. I have had this product now for about 3 weeks and have been using it none stop. It works great. The speeds are accurate. And the tone arm has a universal curved headshell. So you can replace the cartridge and upgrade it if you like. Also I'd like to point out that I had the lp120 for about a year and had it replaced 3 times within that year. I had nothing but problems with that model. For example. The first lp120 model had a warped platter, the anti skate did not work, and there was a horrible buzzing sound coming from my amplifier. It seems the lp120 has had issues since it first came out. Check out youtube videos about the anti skate not working or buzzing and you will see what I am talking about. Now with the lp3 there is no warped platter, no buzzing coming from my speakers, plus you have the ability to use a moving magnetic cartridge or a ceramic cartridge. The switch is on the back for this feature. And I love the ability to upgrade my parts just like the lp120. But to me this is built better and is more stylish. Also this comes with a thick rubber slip mat as the lp120 comes with a cheap felt mat. So here are the pros and cons of this turntable. Pros Built in amp Universal Headshell The ability to use magnetic or ceramic cartridge counterweight anti skate fully automatic Cons no strobe light and no pitch control

      Inaccurate speed

Read several positive reviews on this new TT and picked one up at my local BB. I preferred the next model up (LP120) for $50 more, which is a much better TT with more adjustments and a better cartridge, but chose the LP3 as its full auto feature is easier for my family to use. The LP3 is very attractive and seems well built. I swapped out the stock cartridge with an Audio Technica AT95e, aligned and set the tracking force, and hooked it up to my integrated amp thru an external phono preamp. It sounded quite good at first but I noticed that the speed was too fast after test listening different records. It's belt-driven so doesn't have pitch controls. I returned and exchanged it for the LP120, which is manual but is just a large improvement over the LP3 on many levels. I'm much happier with the upgrade and just need to show my wife and kids how to use a manual TT.

This is a very good intro to the "audiophile" turntable world. You can find cheaper turntables, but if you're looking to get into higher quality sound this is a good starting point. Once the weight and skating were properly adjusted this turntable has been perfect. No skipping, no fuzz during louder songs. Except for the general static you'll get from time to time on any turntable, I'd compare this to FLAC digital files as far as sound quality goes. This definitely isn't the be-all-end-all of turntables, but as mentioned, this is a great starting point for people looking for good sound quality over basic function.

After deciding to dust off an old turntable to join the vinyl renaissance, I found that my old JVC wasn't up to par. Found this Audio Technica was highly recommended for an entry-level turntable and decided to give it a spin. Set up was a breeze (even connecting to Sonos Connect) and it's really been fun to listen to albums again. This one's not prone to skip when there are kids running around and the automatic start/stop comes in handy when I'm not there to do it manually.

Wow i am so impressed. I was looking at $300+ Turntables and decided I wanted to also buy some vinyl to listen to instead of just having a record player to stare at. This fit my needs perfectly. decent sound, ( bass a little heavy) and easy operation for my wife. I am pleasantly impressed the the operation of this device. I would recommend picking this up i you want to listen to vinyl without spending a fortune on a turn table.

Record player works great, I purchased this item bc my boyfriend had an extensive vinyl collection with no means to listen to them. It’s been fun picking out which record we want to play next. The quality is great, and some of the vinyls we have are VERY old. I have to thank the young lady that helped me pick this option. She was very knowledgeable and helped me give the perfect Christmas gift.

Very good quality and works flawlessly. I had purchased a different brand turntable for less money and it was terrible. The A-T was not much more money but the quality was hugely better and looks great. I'm running it through a Pioneer receiver and surround system and the sound is perfect.

Being old school, I still have a collection of NOW vintage LP albums so wanted a turntable to play them added to the small replacement sound system selected by the Best Buy In-Home consultant. This was the FIRST turntable that our Geek Squad installer had ever done.
