I had recently purchased a 4K TV from Best Buy and the next common sense thing to do from my perspective was to enable the cable box to provide a high quality signal to the TV. After speaking with the staff, they provided the options and advice which allowed me to choose the AudioQuest Chocolate 4K Ultra HD HDMI cable. The picture quality is incredible with the new TV and the choice of adding a high quality HDMI cable couldn’t help but ensure the awesome TV experience I’m enjoying now. My thanks to the Best Buy staff, as they made the buying experience easy and comfortable!!!
this cable was an upgrade compared to the standard cable that came with my ps4 pro. I noticed an improvement in picture quality and audio I would recommend anyone looking to improve they're home theater they should get an audio Quest upgrade.
Honestly I believed all hdmi are the same and there is no reason to buy expensive cable. I was wrong and I’ll tell you why this audioquest hdmi cables are the best. I was having audio and picture sync issues with my apple 4k tv and Panasonic UB820 4k player connected to Harmon Kardon Samsung HWN850 Soundbar. I was using a monster 18gbps cable and certified 18gbps cable that advised 4k hdr. The picture would drop out with Apple TV and sound when streaming 4k content. The uhd player pushing uncompressed info at chroma 444 picture and sound drop out and it was choppy. I thought it was 2015 Samsung SHUD tv that was using arc and I got a new LG C8 and had issue. I purchased certified 18gbs rocket fish cable same issue. I was getting ready to take back Soundbar but found out quality of cable hdmi makes difference. I purchased 3 chocolate hdmi cables one tv to Soundbar, uhd player to Soundbar, Apple TV to Soundbar. Guess what no more issues. No more timing errors with pic and sound. No more switching different inputs and arc goes out and I have to unplug. All hdmi cables are not built with quality materials. I am now a believer in these cables. I still think they are too pricey, but I cannot fault their quality and working as advertised. Save yourself time and go with these. I wouldn’t recommend going pass chocolate unless you have some real expensive audio equipment then yes because it has more silver in it.
Was running a Monster cable since 2012 & had sound cut-outs periodically for the last 2-3 YRS or so. Didn't happen often, & it was only for .5-1 sec tops. But, it did indeed happen on occasion. Some days it wouldn't do it @ all. Sometimes, weeks would go bu w/o any. Fast forward to 2020.. Well, it started happening multiple times a day. The most it happened was prob 5-6 times a minute.
Replaced it w/this Cinnamon cable, NEVER heard it again. I've since replaced 4 other Monster cables w/this same Cinnamon cable. XBOX 1, Blu-ray, Samsung TV, Apple TV, & A/V receiver. Smells like apple pie & french toast behind my home theatre system!
haven't tried it yet, my tv is in the shop right now. but, i have one like it on my other tv and it works great . other than a high dollar big screen, Qled or a sony Oled, where you might want to spend a lot on HDMI cables ( i did), smaller tvs like 55" this HDMI cable is fine. look for the silver content in them, the higher the silver, the better quality HDMI cable, which means better picture and sound .
You know it is quality when it comes from Audio Quest. I purchased these cables to run my B&W CM9's. True twin 13 gauge long grain copper from amp to speaker terminals for bi-wiring. Sound quality is perfect. I can honestly hear zero distortion, even at high amp output. If you spent the money on top end amps and speakers don't go cheap on speaker cable.
A:AnswerWhen it comes to choosing cables, there's no one "right" cable - it's a case of going with the best cable you can. This is because cables cannot improve the signal they carry, they can only make improvements by introducing less distortion into the system and doing less harm to the signal. The less distortion, the better. The best cable therefore is the one that introduces the least distortion and affects the signal as little as possible. And this is true for all cables - even HDMI cables! And the further up the line you go, the better it gets.
If you buy the best cable within your budget, you'll be assured of getting the best possible performance.
