everybody out there listen i bought a brand new samsung led 3d tv 55 inches and i bought a monster cable 1000 & it was ok well i heard about the m2000 monster so i went to best buy to buy it and they dont sell them in the store but they can order it for you well thats what i did but the guys were telling me just buy the audio quest your waisting your money on monster so i didnt listen to them well i finally got the m2000 and it was just alittle better than the 1000 so i was mad because for 250.00 it should of been really better. so i went back to the store and returned it and i didnt know what to get well i returned the 1000 too and i wanted to buy the audio quest carbon for my dvr but i heard the chocolate was just as good so i bought the chocolate for 125.00 and took a chance and i will tell you this right now i wish i had bought this audioquest chocolate along time ago man what a picture it blows the m2000 out of the water believe me dont waist your money on monster. the monster 1000 8foot is 130.00 well the chocolate is 6.7 or 6.9 feet it does retail at 138.00 but the best buy guys gave me 15% off it came to 125.00 & get this the m2000 cost 250.00 for 8 feet what a rip off this chocolate blows that away and its half the price, it even fits on tighter than monster & dont think you can buy a m2000 on ebay for 30 or 40 bucks because those are fakes i can tell you that right now unless there 75 or more then there real but if there cheeper than 75.00 on ebay they are for sure fakes i know some people that bought them and they were happy but thats because you cant tell the difference really with a monster cable and a good normal cable i know because i seen the picture from the m2000 on ebay and my m2000 & mine was better you could see the difference. i just went to best buy and bought the carbon for my bluray because i knew the chocolate was awesome. but even the chocolate is good for the bluray so even if you have a bluray just buy this chocolate.so everybody dont waist your time even trying to find a monster cheep on ebay or even buying one at the store just grab this audioquest chocolate believe me you will save alittle money & alot of time. even if you get the cinnamon over the m1000 for your cable box & the chocolate over the m2000 for your bluray it will still blow monster out of the water & you will save over 200.00 (i seen it with my own eyes)

I'm no expert in HDMI cables. For the amount of money spent on this particular HDMI cables, I really was looking for a bigger wow factor plugging in the HDMI cable. I tried using the HDMI cable for Gaming, Hooking it up to my Cable Box, I also used it for my Blueray player, which is actually the same as my Video Game Device. I have other regular HDMI cables. I have one that came with my gaming system, I have one that I go at Goodwill that was actually worth a lot of money, it's a Sony, but it was worth a lot of money because it was when HDMI cables just came out, and when I bought it, it was still in the regular packaging. I tried comparing all 4 HDMI cables that I have, I also looked at all 3 cables, and they all look different by slight variations. Some are Silver coated, Some are Gold Coated, and I'm sure the ones that are gold plated that they are slightly different Karats of gold in the HDMI gold plated HDMI Cables. So I ranked this as an average HDMI cable only because I'm not sure what to really look for. My gaming ran smoothly, but it also ran smoothly with all my other HDMI cables. For some reason I like to use this particular HDMI cable for gaming because it's the most expensive, and I don't want to be missing out on anything, even if I'm missing it. So for you who understand the difference between one HDMI Cable from another, then I'm sure this review won't help you, But for you who can't really tell the difference, I would buy a gold plated HDMI cable, which is the more expensive one but there are ones that are cheaper than others, but than again I might be wrong, like I said the silver ones do work just as well. I think its all about how long one lasts depending on how much you play or watch tv. It might be all about the amount of time one watches or plays with their television and uses their HDMI Cable Cord. The only reason I recommend the gold hdmi cables is because the silver ones for some reason don't seem to last as long and out of all the HDMI cables that I have had, the only ones that have broke, were the Silver Plated ones, but they did work great while I played or watched TV. I hope this review helped. Good luck to you all who are buying HDMI Cables.

If you aren't going to invest in a top notch cable for your TV, then there is no point in buying a HDTV, especially in a 4K TV. So many people make the mistake of buying a high end expensive TV and then ruining it by purchasing a cheap cable. The majority of the cables out there are sub par. Minus a few exceptions, if you are going to purchase a TV, surround sound system, or cables to go along with it, you need to go to the home theater section. Nothing in there is sub par. If you are looking for a cheap 300 dollar TV that will provide a terrible picture and make you want to turn it off every chance you get, go get a TV from walmart. If you want the ultimate TV experience that makes you feel like you are at the movies, then you need to do the following: purchase a 4K TV, a high end surround system like martin logan (I believe these are the best on the market that give you powerful boom for action movies while still providing high pitch for voices and music), and wonderful cables. This goes for both speakers and your TV. They are arguably the most important component. WIthout these cables, you will not even come close to reaching the full potential of the speakers or TV. The cables makes the TV/speakers what they are. Whats 175-200$ when you are dropping a minimum of 1,000 and probably upwards of several thousand for a TV? You won't be sorry you did it. Ask a best buy associate. These chocolate cables rom audioquest are the cables they used most for floor model tvs. Everyone wants their TV to look like the ones at best buy. To do that you need the following: 4K TV (I think Samsung is the best on the market), strong TV signal (I think direct tv is hand down the best there is), and a wonderful cable (you can't go wrong with the audioquest cables, they are far superior to any other cables). They are the Ferrari of TV cables. Even if you don't spend the money on the chocolate, at least get an Audioquest cable. I have them for my TV and surround sound system. I bough several other cables to see how they compare and none came even close.

I purchased this HDMI Cable after doing a lot of research and fact finding. I am very happy with the quality and performance of this product.. I am using this HDMI cable to connect my Pioneer Blue Ray to my Pioneer Elite receiver. Audioquest makes excellent products and are well worth the investment. I read a lot of comments that it doesn't matter how much you spend on AV connectors. I can personally attest that price and quality does indeed matter. I tried using generic $10 cables for audio and video comparisons and could easily hear and see the difference. I used high end Monster cables vs. Audiquest and it was no comparision, Audioquest was the easy winner. Audioquest makes many models depending on the need and customers price range. I am using Audioquest Carbon HDMI's to connect my new 60" Sony to my receiver and cable box. I am not an easy sell and very happy with the overall results. Do yourself a favor and buy at least the Chocolate model to connect your high-end AV equipment. You WILL notice the difference and be rewarded with the results.

I was at my local bb store and was looking for the ultimate cable for my new tv and was not satisfied with that i was seeing. Then one associated suggested this so i had them order it and picked it up at the store a few days later. I was skeptical at first but now that i have it and am using it, all i have to say is unbelievable! It makes the pictures so vivid you will think you got a new tv (well i did) and the sound is as if were there. You can hear the camera brush against the leaves! The cable is smooth and thick and the brown ends merge well with most equipment stands and home theater wall colors making it unobtrusive. My mother in law is moving into a new house and they want to wire up the place now so they have no cables dangling around. They will need a few hundred feet the installer said. Well after being so impressed by this cable i suggested that they should use it instead of the generic no good for nothing cables. She balked at first but then i invited her over and showed her how my tv looks through this cable vs the generic one i was using with my old tube., She was totally astounded and so was her husband. This cable is the perfect gift for your favourite parents in law, and for yourself, if you you take pride in signal sophistication and quality of reception.

    Quality HDMI Cord

It was a great cord. It was a little pricey, but I figured, Hey, you get what you pay for. Unfortunately it didn't seem that way for me. I really just needed it for my Xbox. I have 2 Xbox's and I needed to upgrade one of the cords to an HDMI since both TV's are HD. My original cord was a $50 Rocket Fish HDMI cord and I researched online and figured that this has to be one of the better cords since is had a better platting than the Cinnamon and Forest versions. Once I got home and plugged it in, I had no difference in quality than my old Rocket Fish HDMI cord. So I just decided to take it back and just get the Forest version. Plugged in the Forest one and still made no difference between the Chocolate. It could be the Xbox not pushing out better than a Blu-Ray player or PS3, but hey, it was just my experience and opinion. Also, I do not have a Blu-Ray player or PS3, so I couldn't really get to test it. Chocolate Price: $105 Forest Price: $48 Price Difference: $57

My Magnolia Rep encouraged me to try these HDMI cables with a new LG OLED 65EF9500. Having received the new TV and installed with my existing HDMI high speed cables, I wasn't satisfied at all with the picture quality of the new OLED and started to doubt the quality of the set. Then, when a little bit of prodding from the Magnolia Rep (he told me that he's told his clients to buy these expensive cables and never had one returned!), a purchased this cable. Once installed the quality of the picture improved substantially. The LG OLED is running through my new Yamaha RX-A2050 receiver and the picture is amazing. I have since purchased ALL new Audioquest cables for my home theatre and really do believe now that it DOES make a difference! After spending a small fortune on your home theatre, don't neglect these high quality cables to obtain the absolute best picture and sound quality that you can.

I was hesitant to buy these cables at first. I had heard that it doesn't take an expensive cable to pass an HD signal flawlessly. However, after some research I discovered that indeed quality cables do make a difference. There is signal loss, and degradation with cheap cabling. The shorter the cable run the less loss, but there is loss. With these sexy chocolate cables, my picture quality is flawless. I have a 4K TV 60" I can get right up to it, nose an inch from the screen and see no distortion. If you spent the money on high end audio and video equipment, don't go cheap on the cabling. I bought 3. STB to receiver, Blu Ray to Receiver, Receiver to TV. Audio and video are superb. If you went cheap on the tv, then a quality cable wont do you justice. Connectors fit nice and tight. The braided cord is heavy duty. I read it takes 20 lbs. of force to remove the connector from the cord. After handling the cables, I can believe it.
