Q: Is the video door bell compatible with xfinity home security system?
A: No, the video doorbell is only compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
A: I had the same problem. I went online and purchased a $5 dollar larger doorbell transformer that sits in the closet by the chime. I believe it was a full 20volt transformer to power the August doorbell cam and this solved the problem. Replacing the transformer took about 5 minutes.
Q: I need a doorbell camera that can be compatible with lorex and installs via cat 6
A: No cannot install with cat 6 cable only works with standard wired doorbells

A: No, the video doorbell is only compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
A: Yes you just have to give any other user owners login or and doorbell camera access to the users that you want.
A: Probably not as that would require electrical work to be done. That would be more for an electrician. Geek Squad just installs the product.
Q: Does this work on 5G network?
A: As far as I know, the August Doorbell Cam supports/connects via a 2.4 GHz (802.11b/g/n) Wi-Fi network. It should connect if you have a dual 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz network. I have an Orbi (tri-band) Wi-Fi network setup and all of my August products (Smart Lock Pro, Doorbell Cam and Smart Keypad) hook up and sync with no problems.
