The usb gen was only issue...or it would be a 5
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works instantly....the only thing i wish, was that the cord was longer and it is 100% 3.2 usb gen and works with No other usb at all..it is a 3' cord...i needed either a 6'-8' cord for my setup and best buy doesn't have the cheapest price for the new cords...found a 8' 3.2 , it did work, but it is very specific that it's the new gen and nothing else.

It doesn't capture all kind of signals
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing gave me the better quality of capturing from my VCR, than most of the other capturing devices. However it won't capture anything from my DVD players because it's too conscious about copyrights.

Good 4k passthrough but outdated now
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This certainly works if you don't record in 4k since it still lets you play at 4k with the passthrough but now you can get the updated version and you're set on both fronts until the companies start pretending we'll get 8k 1000fps.

cool device
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.seems to work pretty well so far, installation can be a bit of a pain in the butt, and you will probably need a longer USB 3.1 cable

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great capture card, has all the features I needed and it was cheaper than elgatos option that had the same features. Great capture device for the money.

Q: QuestionWill this device live stream from a camcorder to YouTube with quality audio? If not, can you recommend a device that you sell that can?
Asked by Jch416.
- A:Answer If your camcorder has an HDMI out, yes. As for "quality" audio, it depends... While this will capture audio for you, if you want *truly* quality audio you'll want to invest in an USB audio interface and quality microphones. If that won't work for you, use the mic input that your camera (hopefully) has, and attach a shotgun mic.
