My favorite TV show of all time.
This series was well thought out and a pioneer in special effects for this type of show which many thought could not be done in a one hour time slot. Not only did it but it paved the way for other shows like Stargate SG1. The fact that it was designed for a five year run and is so well connected form season 1 to season 5 with many of characters. I have the complete series and all the extra movies as well as the one spin off. I would recommend watching it.
I was a little worried about starting a show that aired 20 years ago. I was blown away by all of it. I'm a Trekkie and rate this even with TOS and TNG. I would reccommend this to anyone who likes sci fi. It will grip you from episode 1 until the end of the series.
