The smell is paramount to me with any beard oil/balm because it is right there under your nose all day. This oil helps to soften and smooth my rather coarse and scratchy beard and has an orange and smoky musk smell that I can enjoy all day long. It took some time to find the best way to apply it since it is a solid waxy substance, but if you push out a small lump with a finger and rub it vigorously into the opposing palm it just turns to oil and you can smear it into your beard. I have three tins of this stuff because you never know when things get hard to find. I really like it.

Gets the job done

The balm is gritty compared to others I prefer, but gets the job done of making the beard have some shine and controlled for the day without being too dry.

So, tame that beard, flatten it out and it will fit a whole lot better under that mask. It also has a unique, outdoors flowery smell...but manly flowery. In an age of PC verbiage, flowery, manly flowery will stand the PC examiners red pencil. This is the ticket for that dried out, shaggy dog look, oh, now I've offended the shaggy dogs. look, just buy this product and make sure you have a beard brush, not the comb. the brush flattens out your grizzle look and the love of your life (or your significant other) will love the smell. C ya, outdoors people Oh. oh, the red edit came out for my use of the word D-A-M-N. The product is called The Best D-a-m-n Beard balm...it's in the name, people, red edit people...

He really liked the smell. Course my other brother was not as taken with the product though he is not a beard connoisseur lol. Even the back of the can has a cool description. How can you not be a fan!
