A: Yes. This phones works with any GSM service including Metro PCS.
Q: does it work with assurance wireless they are part of virgin mobile
A: No. Virgin is on Sprint's network. That is CDMA technology. You need a GSM service.
Q: Why does my grand xl does not keep charged if it's plugged out
A: It could be internal apps are running that causes the battery to drain faster. Your charging cable could be faulty. You could of potentially over charged it by keeping it plugged in for to of an extended period. I suggest bringing it in for warranty service or if your capable yo a factory reset and see if it removes all the sluggish apps. . If not you may just have to purchase a new one.. All depending how long you have had the phone.
