Q: Where does the propane tank go? I'm thinking that while the fire unit is very attractive, the beautiful view of it would be pretty much spoiled by the presence of a hose and clunky tank.

A: Yes. Fully assembled. Spread rocks and add propane tank. Love it.

A: If you are concerned because you think it may throw off too much heat under the unit, I wouldn't think it does. The gas tank is stored inside the unit below the flame. The flame itself is probably 25" from the ground (not exact measurement as I'm not at home to check).

Really enjoying it
My wife was right; we needed this. That was tough to admit. I was against getting this and my wife all for it. So of course that means we bought one and in this case I’m delighted to report I was wrong. This unit is great. Set was easy, it looks great, it puts off a lot of heat, and is easy to use. I really appreciate it comes with a cover too. I’ve used it several times already and it really adds a fantastic element to our deck. It is on the heavy side, so just be prepared for that in case you are planning to move it around a lot.

Great heaters, poor protective covers!
The fire table is absolutely spectacular! Provides great heat and looks very appealing on our back patio. My only con to this purchase would be that we have only had these for less than a year and already the covers that protect the units from the inclement weather have ripped on all of the corners and we need to replace them already.

Great warmer for the deck!
Now with cooler weather in Michigan, this fire column is perfect! It was easy to set up and looks great on the deck! We are amazed at how much heat it throws off!
