A: Yes, I bought this boost 3-in-1 sim kit in a hurry to activate my unlocked Samsung Galaxy S8 on Sprint (for their 1 free year BYOD plan). It worked perfectly - the one in the kit you use for a Galaxy S8 is the 416Q sim (there's also a 506C and a 506TQ in the kit, and I used the 506C for a Moto G4 right after).
Q: Is the card compatible with IPhone XR
A: No,no,NO!!! Do NOT purchase this. I was guaranteed by the salesman at Best Buy it would work. I called Boost gave the customer service person the numbers on the card, they said the cards were not any good. I had to wait until they mailed me one. And because I opened the package to give the number off the card, I couldn't take them back to get a refund.
Q: Will this work with a locked (Sprint) iPhone 6s?
A: Outlook not good. Boost does use the Sprint Network, and the iPhone 6s is on the list of compatible phones here: https://activate.boostmobile.com/bring-your-phone. However; since as you state, it is locked, it cannot be switched until Sprint performs a domestic unlock, which you can read about here: https://www.sprint.com/en/support/solutions/device/faqs-about-unlocking-your-sprint-device.html.

A: Yes. Boost will have to add it to their systems. The Best Buy agent assisted me with activating an iPhone device that is not offered in store by boost.

A: It should. It's sims are compatible with Boost, Virgin Mobile, or Sprint, and you can run a compatibility check with your phone's MEID on the Boost BYOD page, and it will tell you which of the three SIMs your phone takes(for iPhones it is usually the one ending with a C in the model number....all three are in the package). I have activated two iPhones with these SIMs successfully.

So it looks like you may need to call them to send you a special sim card compatible with your IPhone.
