A: I purchased the fridge with the ice maker but didn't want to use the freezer for making ice. So I asked the delivery men not to connect the water to the fridge. Fortunately this fridge has a control on the inside of the fridge where you can press a button to have the ice maker on or off. That was another good reason that I like this fridge so much more than other ones.
