The perfect system for an office. Great sound quality that Bose delivers, but in a small casing. Love that I can charge my device while docked OR use an output cable. Only real knock is the price. Sounds quality is great, but you're definitely paying more for the Bose name.

I gave this product as a Father's day gift to my dad. He liked everything about it. It's compact, it has great sound quality and it has a remote control. It also charges his phone while it's docked. The only hassle I can honestly say is that he had to remove his phone case to dock it. There is an Aux connector to connect it from the headphone jack, but you have to plug it separately to charge the phone. Nevertheless, it's a great docking sound system. I am thinking of getting one for myself.

We bought this so we could listen to the music on our iPhones. We like the sound quality, the way you can listen to your music and also charge your phone, and easy to use remote. My husband's phone fits just right to do all these things, but mine has the lifepruf case. I had to buy a special attachment, and while it does play the music, it does not charge the phone. I'm thinking of getting a case for my iPhone that will fit and returning the attachment so I can enjoy all the features of this product. Warning! Make sure your case allows you access.

For years, I had an Altec docking speaker and a portable Logitech speaker dock. Both died, this is the closest replacement I could find. I looked at the WiFi and Bluetooth speakers and saw some that were awesome, but I wanted to have a place to dock my phone as well as have good speakers. There are cheap docks out there, but as always, the Bose speakers are wonderful. I dislike its lack of features though. Everything works from the remote. The controls (searching, sound etc.) aren't as sophisticated as what I had on the other two devices. Bose is good at speakers but not interfaces.

Awesome sound, great size and appearance, and the remote makes it a fantastic buy.

This is a great sounding system for newer Apple products with the Lightning connector. Added convenience with the remote and charges device while in use makes it a worth while purchase. Sound is well balanced and what you would expect from bose.

Purchased this to replace a broken SoundDock series I. Main problem with these is the connector. I purchased the Bluetooth SoundLink III but it was no comparison with volume & amplification. If not concerned with portability, get the SoundDock III. The III also has a secondary jack, so if/when the Apple Lightning connector fails, there is a backup connection.
