Amazing Portable Bluetooth Speaker
Posted .Ok, I really hate to admit this, but I actually bought this without hearing it. I was looking for a smaller portable solution and just happened to go to Bose's web site and saw this. I have several Bose products and have always been happy with them. So I decided to order one. I actually ordered through Bose because I wanted the leather cover and Best Buy's doesn't have them yet. So I opened the box and plugged it in to get the battery to wake up and paired to both my iPhone and iPad. That was amazingly simple. Then the best part, I started to play music. I was exactly what I wanted. Now it is not as loud as the SoundDock which I also have but it sounds amazing. Now I have read some reviews that people expect this to sound like a home theater system. If that is you, this is not for you. I love the SoundDock, but it is pretty big and although portable, I wanted something smaller and the SoundDock pretty much stays in my room. Also, I wanted something that connects to my iPad and other Bluetooth devices. This is the perfect solution for me. Now I know people say that Bose is expensive, but if you have ever had to deal with their support, you will understand one reason for the cost. They have the best support which I have rarely had to use. Also, the quality of Bose products have always been exceptional and the Bose SoundLink is no exception. You will not regret this purchase and will enjoy for years to come

Super portable and easy while sounding good
Posted .I've had my Soundlink now for 2 months since November and am really happy with my purchase. I use it daily with my old I-touch mp3 / Sirius app player outside while working or inside with my laptop to play music or podcasts. Primarily all listening is done with the bluetooth connection which ended up being the primary reason for buying. The battery life is pretty good and can take it outside for a good 6 hours of listening while working. I've been making sure to thoroughly drain the battery before recharging, despite being Li-Ion, and the battery life is still like new. Definitely been recharged close to 40 times so far. The nylon cover has faired pretty good and just have to make sure to place it on a clean surface when outside so as to not flip cover back on with dirt falling into speaker cover. Sounds wise, it's great and well worth the price. I can carry it with me anywhere and put on a clean flat spot whether positioned high or low and sounds is good to me. Now, it won't be as "loud" as a jobsite radio (of which I see many of for my line work) but the quality is far better and without wires/cords. It's loud enough though, you could try it at the store if in question. Only feature I think would be cool would be to have an added Aux-output instead of input only thereby allowing me to connect the Soundlink to the home stereo via bluetooth. Second to last note is that the bluetooth connection can sometimes become chopped if I put my I-touch mp3 player in my pocket and walk around. Basically now I leave I-touch close to Soundlink while playing to avoid choppy play. Final last note, sometimes if I'm switching over to the laptop from the mp3 player I must disable to bluetooth on the mp3 player to avoid reconnecting. Same goes for when going from the laptop back to the mp3. Not a big deal but notable. In summary, go for it, you'll be glad to get rid of the wires and find yourself saving time while getting good sound.

I will never be without music again... :)
Posted .I couldn't be happier that I bought this. The sound quality blows my mind-Thanks Bose. Now I can have my music (in amazing quality) in my room, when I'm taking a shower, when I'm out back on my porch with friends, etc. The list goes on.. I also bought this because I make music videos and this is extremely helpful. The band members need to hear their music as they perform, and it was very difficult relying on the soft sound from my laptop as we traveled around town. Thanks to Bose, I will never have that problem again. LOVE IT!! Oh and it's really impressive to show people which is a plus ;)

Good sound
||Posted .I wanted a bluetooth speaker that had great sound. Bose having such a great history I gave this speaker a chance. The sound is magnificent, the speakers coming from the back really makes the music surround sound like. The bass and treble is decent. The only draw back is the lack of high tones making lyrics a bit difficult to make out.

excellent speaker
||Posted .I bought this for my kid, and now several years later this is still working and in great shape, great sound. Now is mine, she has gotten one of the newest ones, but this is just worth it the price I paid.

Sounds Pretty Good
||Posted .This speaker sounds pretty good, but overall you might get a better omnidirectional sound from a Jambox or JBL unit. It's very easy to connect to and the connection is stable.

Q: QuestionWhich should i get this or the bose sounddockwhy?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Depends on the use. I bought this one, and just took it back for the SoundDock. Right now it's on sale for $349. Portable (this one) - bluetooth (no remote), small/lightweight, stand doubles as cover, great sound quality in close proximity to device, cheaper SoundDock - remote (no bluetooth), a little bigger/bulky but has a handle in the back, great sound quality with a much higher volume level (near and far), it's only $50 more right now than this one. Good luck!

Q: Questionwhat size is the bose soundlink wireless speaker? No size specifications are given. Fits in hand? Size of book? Size of a iphone?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Pretty compact - using the virtual ruler in my head - it's about 1.5" thick, 10" wide, and 5" tall. About as thick as a 600 page paperback book. Has a solid/weighty feel to it. Easy to carry in one hand.

Q: QuestionHow do you Switch between multiple bluetooth devices that have been paired?
Asked by The Voice.
- A:Answer Thanks for your question! The SoundLink Wireless Mobile speaker can hold up to six paired devices in memory. More devices can be paired, though the memory will never contain more than six. When turning the SoundLink Mobile on, it will try and connect with the most recently used device. If this device is not available for connecting, it will attempt to connect with the next previous device, and so on. To ensure the SoundLink Mobile is connecting to the device you’d like, be sure the Bluetooth setting is turned on in this device and ensure Bluetooth is turned off on any other nearby device.
