A: I have recently purchased htm71 s2 to match with my 702 s2 front left and right. I set all of them to large with 60 hz crossover. They sound much more dynamic, powerful, and full than set as small. Moreover, they blend in real well with my SVS sub.
A: You could, but it's not designed for that. When you say "bookshelf", you mean front left and right channel? Or rear surrounds? Surround typically uses 5 speakers and a sub. You'd be better off getting speakers designed for their positions within a surround system.
A: I don’t have any Martin Logan experience, but I would go to a magnolia design center at Best Buy to get a better in person experience/answer.
Q: Can u use this speaker for music
A: Yes except not for the low bass sounds. Great for the kids and highs
