‘Braveheart’ Still Entertains 25 Years Later
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendI know that Mel Gibson isn’t exactly someone people want to talk about these days due to his past personal issues, but I have to admit that this film is a reminder of why he was one of Hollywood’s biggest stars. Not only doe he do a great job acting here, this is also his directorial debut and while “Braveheart” may be one of the most historically inaccurate films ever made, it is a great and epic work of fiction that happens to be very loosely based on a true story. In short, it’s still a lot of fun.

Braveheart
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Since 1995 this movie is a masterpiece from the epic dialogue, battles to the Memoral music of James Horner. This movie delivers everything a movie lover could ask for. The 4k does show somewhat since the movie was made somewhere in 1994-1995 the sound and picture are a bit outdated meaning the picture is fuzzy and clear at the same time. The sound is so clear you can hear some things that are not natural of the movie to be such as low ringing or very low buzzing. Wish they remastered it like they did with terminator 2.

Beautiful Historical Fiction.
|Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendA classic movie that is now considered an epic masterpiece. It may be historically inaccurate, but it is still a brilliantly told story. Treat it as historical fiction and enjoy the show. The UHD disc is the best this movie has ever looked. Such a brilliant transfer and the HDR makes the colors pop like never before. The steelbook is beautiful and makes a great collectors piece. Don't miss it.

Gladiator
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendWhat is now a classic picture, I wanted a digital copy. Rather than buy just that, I also got a steel book case. Win/win. Great historical based picture (yes, there are liberties taken with the historic realities). But, it delivers a solid story and epic battle scenes. Grab some popcorn, throw on some comfy clothes, hit a recliner and enjoy!

One of my favorite 4k purchases this year.
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendThere's zero reason to not purchase this 4k movie. This is a great addition to your steelbook collection, too. I've had this on VHS, DVD, Blu-ray, and now 4k. The 4k shows blistering pictures that everyone should see.

Flank them
|Posted .Owned for 7 months when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendThis movie looks the best it will ever look considering its age and the environmental damage the original film suffered during the filming process. But the bass is INSANE!!
