Q: Does dual fuel mean you can cook with propane or natural gas?

A: Hello Angela. I'm glad you reached out with your question about Dual Fuel. Dual Fuel means that the cooktop is gas and the oven is electric. All of our gas and dual fuel ranges are set for natural gas, but come with an LP conversion kit to allow them to be hooked up to propane. Thanks for checking! LEDA@GEA

Q: Used the self-cleaning option on the oven this morning and now it says LOC in red on the front panel. Cannot turn it off, and cannot get other functions to work. Help

A: Hi Gayle - Thanks for reaching out! We are happy to help. Child lockout feature prevents the oven from being turned on accidentally. Q: Does this dual fuel range smoke (from the vent) when baking or broiling food like bacon or oven searing a rib roast?

A: Yes, this product may smoke from the vent as a natural result of the cooking process.

Q: I want to install this dual fuel range. It currently has a gas line & a 220v outlet so I think I am ready to order. The gas line is in the proper place according to your specs but there is not a 7" space between the gas and the 220v outlet. Is this OK?

A: Hi LZ- We're excited to hear of your interest in our GE Café™ Series! In order for the range to fit flush at the rear wall, the gas supply and electrical supply must be located in the shaded areas as shown in the Quick Specs at the following link: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=C2S986SELSS_C2_17.pdf - This information is also provided in the Installation Instructions: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=31-11053-2.PDF - Keep in touch! Q: Does the warming oven have a rack?

A: No, the warming oven does not have a rack.

Q: does the GE café dual fuel come with the professional grade oven racks?

A: Not sure what the specifications are for racks to be professional-grade. However, these racks are very strong and sturdy -- not flimsy at all. I don't see how they could be any more solid.
