Q: Can I print without being connected to the internet?
A: Yes - the printer can be directly connected to the computer via a USB cable instead of via Wi-Fi.
Q: Is it possible to store the output of scanned document to a USB drive?
A: I just learned how to since I'm new to scanning. The answer is yes. There are 2 ways. Place your document onto the glass. Close top of printer. 1. Then insert the USB drive into an insert opening on the front left side of the printer. Press on the Home icon on the display, press on Scan, then you will get a choice of where to scan document to, Oress on USB memory. Press Start 2. Scan the document to the computer. Go to downloads or Adobe Acrobat files. You will see img.some #'s,pdf Open ,pdf to verify or orient the document & then rename to something you recognize. Copy file to USB drive you have already inserted into your computer {or drag & drop) and, its on your USB drive. It's a really great printer that has so many great features that I am exploring myself. I highly recommend it.
Q: Do you need a phone line for faxing? Or does it fax thru your computer?
A: I have a separate phone line that I use for faxing so, I'm not sure if the computer can be used as a fax. But, you can scan to your computer & then send out via e-mail

A: yes
Q: How many copies before the included toner runs out
A: The Toner Cartridge 057 standard capacity (which the unit ships with) has a yield of 3,100 pages. If at a later date you purchase the High Yield version of the 057 Toner Cartridge, it will print about 10,000 pages.
Q: Does it work with the new MacOS Monterey 12.6.2 upgrade?
A: Yes it does, also works with the newest update Ventura 13.1
Q: Does it print and scan 11x17 size. If not what printer does?
A: Yes and you can also reduce the original to fit letter size paper
