Love the simplicity of the carafe
Love the simplicity of the carafe
|Posted .Carafe has a wooden peice to set it on and warped very easily so now the carafe when setting on it is unstable. It also has filters that come separate. They are natural material which I love but slow to drain the coffee when making it.

Love it!
Love it!
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI've been trying to decide between a pour over and French press for years but wanted to make sure I did all the research I possibly could. I was prepared to shell out a decent amount for the ones at Williams-Sonoma but happened to come across this particular one during a store visit for appliances. I love how sleek and minimalist the design is, and I couldn't stop thinking about it! Yes, it does feel a bit fragile, but I'm not heavy-handed to begin with so that doesn't bother me much. It also isn't too great keeping the coffee warm, so if you're planning on brewing to full capacity, I hope you drink your coffee quickly! It's fun to use and clean up is 1-2-3!

Simple quality

|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis pour over setup is simple and easy to clean. It comes with filters and is thoughtfully created. The only little flaw: The actual funnel could be a little better designed by not having the holes continue as high up the sides and maybe making them slightly larger. However, it's certainly workable as is, and makes great coffee. The carafe is lightweight and elegant, and easy to clean. The neck of the carafe is wide enough to allow a hand in to clean it out thoroughly .All in all, it's a wonderful home pour over setup. Good for someone who makes a few cups a day.

Good coffee
Good coffee
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis is just the right size for a single person. Love the handle. Coffee is full tasting. Just remember that you need to have Hot water when making to get a good cup. Filters that are included do a good job. Easy to clean for my hand size. Someone with large hands may need a bottle type brush to clean it. The wooden saucer that it sits on seems to help keep the carafe from chilling from a cold counter. Overall, very pleased. Not the quickest compared to k-cups, but richer flavored coffee.

Works As Expected
Works As Expected
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThe paper filters fit well in the strainer, and the strainer shows no signs of wear or rust so far. The glass pitcher has held up to clumsily being knocked over a couple of times. The bamboo trivet is the only thing has has shown wear so far, but that's probably because I stick it on top of the pitcher as a lid in the fridge for lazy cold coffee and it collects a bunch of condensation. The bamboo has lightened in color, but it hasn't split or warped significantly.

Easy Pour Over container
Easy Pour Over container
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI own all types of coffee machines and presses and this one is just easy to use. The main advantage of this pour over coffee maker is the ease of clean up. With a french press you have to clean the filter and it makes quite a mess. With the paper filer you just throw it away, its biodegradable and just made of paper. The coffee is good and the container is nice because you can make one cup or many cups at the same time because the container holds up to many cups of water. The metal filter screen is very easy to clean under the faucet. Its the quickest and best way to make coffee. In the morning when I don't have much time i am now torn between firing up my $4,000 Gaggenau coffee machine and using this simple pour over by Caribou.

Works like it should

|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendSeems to work great for us, the metal filter is sturdy and supports the paper filter well. The glass pitcher seems a quite fragile but no more fragile then any other glass coffee pot. The wooden coaster is a nice touch when working on granite counter tops.

Easy Pour Over Option
Easy Pour Over Option
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendGood option for easy pour over coffee, but does take some effort to boil water and pour over vs an automatic machine. We like dark and strong so works well for us when we don’t want to make a huge pot. Craft glass does seem thin so we take extra care when using and cleaning.
