My brother and I bought this game with a gift card. My friend had Carnival Games, and said it was fantastic, so I bought this one, to be different. It was very fun, at first. It was fun because we could make a person and it also had fun levels. But on an easy level, Fairytopia, one of the holes was extremely hard, you had to get a hole in one to pass the hole. But eventually, after 10 minutes of failing, we did it. After about 2 weeks, it got a little boring. We always had to repeat the same holes that we have already done 1000's of times. The hard levels are impossible to beat the barker too. There are also only a few levels, 3 easy, each consisting of 3 holes, 3 medium, of 3 holes, and 3 hard each with 3 holes.
CONCLUSION:
It is a fun family game, but there are very few levels, so it gets boring after a few weeks.

Not the mini-golf we expected

This game is nothing like the other mini golf games. I give it credit for some of the cute, colorful courses that seemed to be aimed towards kids but some of the holes are so hard to get thru it just makes you want to quit and try another day. You have to play single player to unlock the other courses which we think Nintendo should think about changing. We have yet to open two of the courses and we've been trying for a few weeks now. We are about ready to give up and play an easier game. For gameplay I would highly recommend the super swing golf games or the mini golf game on the Summer Sports before this one. This game was cute for the first hour then it got so it wasn't fun.

I agree with the first review- way to many mini games not enough Mini-Golf. I was 10 stokes behind by the end of the first 2 holes(quit playing). To hard to play-no fun at all !!! Wish I had never bought it.

This is great fun for the family. I am not quite sure what others are speaking about when they refer to difficulty, even our youngest has no problems with it. Some of the holes are challeging, but I wouldn't say they were difficult. Just wish it had more themes.

My mom had this game first and my 6 year old daughter loved playing it at her house. So we got this for christmas the other day and have unlocked all the courses and my daughter figured out some of the secret's hidden all by herself. This game is great for the whole family, we enjoy playing with each other. Everyone from the fifty and up crowd, to the thirty year olds, 17 year old and 6 and over can play. I hope everyone gives this game a chance and figures out how fun it is. Only thing I would really change about this game is the putting gauge, it is sometimes difficult to hit the ball consistently the same. You either hit it too hard or too soft, but once you get used to playing it works okay most of the time.

all the other reviews say how hard it is and its not even fun but i didnt think it was as difficult as everyone says it is. i really didnt notice a difference between the easy levels, and the hard levels. sure you have to try a couple of times on some levels, but thats what you get with any game and thats what makes it fun. if it was so easy to just go right throught people would complain too. i think this is an excelent game and would recomend it.

I bought this game for my children thinking that a mini-golf game would be great on the Wii. I didn't expect them to get so frustrated that they were screaming at the TV.
I haven't ever really seen that kind of a reaction to a game from my children but I can understand from playing the game with them that this isn't what a mini-golf game should be. We were looking for a rany day substitute for a true game of mini-golf outside (you know - shoot the clown in the mouth for a free game) but instead got a ludacris game of nearly impossible courses at the 'medium' level.
