I´ve been looking for a calculator for a long time, I use to have a very basic casio, and now considering that I´m studying civil ingeneering I´ve decided to buy a graphing one..
I´ve used this classpad 330 for 5 months now, and I find it great.. it does a lot of advanced calculations and ir has some powerful aplicatios, also the pen touch operation is the best, it allows you to drag and drop an ecuation or a part of it, and you can find all the functions Very easily, it also has a fast procesor and to much memory.. the only thing that could be improved is the light of the screen, altough it is super big, if you are in a room with few light, you will find it difficult to use it.. but if you are in a room with light there is no problem..
You can do really a lot with this..program, do excel like files, or word, statistics, and many other useful things.
what is great too, is that you write the functions as they are in the books, you dont need to reed the entire manual to understan this calculator, it is really easy to use, DONT bother even looking to the other calculators with millions of buttoms!! GET THIS!

Better than the TI-89 Titanium.

A good calculator is a necessity in school and many fields of work. There are many good calculators to choose from: TI-84 Plus Silver Edition, TI-89 Titanium... Basically, Texas Instruments knows what they're doing. But apparently, so does Casio.
Take, for example, the speed at which the Classpad 330 calculates. On the TI-89T, graphing y(x)=x would take about 2 seconds. On the Classpad, it takes about half a second. Now, throw in the touchscreen, more advanced mathematical operations such as Fourier transforms, Laplace transforms, Heaviside, and others, and also throw on more graphing capability in the form of, my personal favorite so far, the 3D parametric graph, and finally put it all in a package that is the same price as the TI-89T, and you have yourself a very nice deal.
The only real drawbacks I've seen so far is that there is no hard manual and the BASIC version doesn't exert as much control over the functions of the calculator.

this is a decent companion for any math or science student. in this day of bright LCD screens however, the casio display falls short.
