It's not Steins;Gate, but it's still fantastic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The creator of Steins;Gate has a brilliant mind when it comes to storytelling in a unique fashion that's so encapsulating and has you curious throughout, wondering what's going to happen next. Chaos;Child is no different as it still contains tons of great science fiction ideas, twisting what's conventional, and creating something new and unforgettable. These visual novels are in a class of their own.

A captivating story with potent themes
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll keep things vague here to avoid spoilers. Chaos;Child, despite being quite a long experience (even by visual novel standards), held my attention hostage throughout by always moving forward the plot, characters, and themes. My only complaint is that the delusion sequences felt a bit irrelevant, though they were still often enjoyable (especially the negative ones). There are quite a few twists along the way to keep you guessing, and once you've reached the first ending, make sure you play through every other ending to reach the true ending. Use a spoiler-free guide if you have to. It was one of the most compelling experiences I've ever had in gaming, especially thanks to how deeply the characters are explored along the way.
