A: With racks, possibly you could get well over 10. Laying them down on the grates, 3-4 baby backs or 3 spare ribs if smoking direct with no water pans. If you add water pans the number goes to 2. There's no box for the wood, it and the charcoal would be directly below for direct heat or smoke. It's a great grill.
