  • Key Specs
    • Storage Capacity: 2000 gigabytes (Measured in megabytes (MB), gigabytes (GB) and terabytes (TB), this is the amount available for storing files, music, movies, photos and more. The total includes the capacity of the hard disk drive and solid state drive if both are included on the computer.)
    • Storage Drive Type: SSD (Traditional, mechanical hard disk drives are the most common type of storage because they're relatively inexpensive and offer huge capacities. However, they also generate both noise and heat. Solid state drives, also known as SSDs, are many times faster than hard disk drives and have no moving parts to wear out, but typically offer less capacity for the same price.)
    • Maximum Read Speed: 4950 megabytes per second (The greatest speed at which the device can read information; for example, opening files.)
    • Maximum Write Speed: 3700 megabytes per second (The greatest speed at which the device can write information; for example, saving files.)
    • Form Factor: M.2 2280
    • Interface(s): PCIe Gen 4 x4 (Refers to the types of connections that devices use to interact and communicate with each other.)

Q: Will this work for a PS5?

A: few people already did it and yes work on ps5.... PS5 TEST SPEED OF 5600.

Q: Is the heat sink removable?

A: Hi there, The heatsink is removable, we recommend keeping the heatsink for warranty purposes. You can reach out to our support team for additional help: support.corsair.com -Brian

Q: Will this work with a Mac Pro 2013 trash can system? Im curious compatibility as well as what adapter would be needed if any and if the heatsink will fit in this type of computer. many thanks in advance. Peter

A: Hi PeterD, I was unable to locate sufficient information to verify compatibility with that system. I suggest contacting Apple support. If you have any additional questions, we'd be happy to help: support.corsair.com -Albert

Q: What is the risk of removing the heatsink. I want this for an Acer Nitro AN517-54-77KG and do not think it will fit with the heatsink in placew?

A: It probably wont fit in a laptop, from my research hest sinks are kinda overkill at the moment, they dont get hot enough to die faster. Yes the heat sink is removable but its not super easy, you will need to bend a metal bracket

Q: Would this fit thw Alienware R5, Ryzen model?

A: Its around 1 inch tall, its also a full length standard nvme length, if you got a desktop with a motherboard with an nvme cover, chose the heatsink it comes with or the mobo cover. The heat sink is removable but not easy
