  • Features
    • Buffered or Registered: Unbuffered (Registered (buffered) memory modules are classified by the addition of a register between the memory controller and DRAM modules. When compared to conventional unbuffered (unregistered) memory, this type provides more stability with less electrical load on the controller, making it a common choice for use in robust applications, such as servers.)
    • Data Integrity Check: Non-ECC (Error-correcting code (ECC) memory helps to maintain data integrity within a computer system, protecting it from potential crashes as well as losses or changes to data due to undetected errors. Systems that use ECC have an additional chip on the RAM that acts as the error check.)
    • Memory Channels: Dual (Multi-channel memory increases the rate of data transfer between the DRAM memory and memory controller by adding more channels of communication. The more channels, the more memory bandwidth.)

Q: Will these RAM Cards work for this Gaming Desktop i have? "CyberPowerPC - Gamer Ultra Desktop - AMD FX-Series - 16GB Memory - 2TB Hard Drive"

A: Yes. Yours takes DDR3 and that is what the Corsair Vengeance is. If you replace what you have with the Corsair you will double your Ram speed from 8 to 16.

Q: It says 2 pack so does that mean it comes with 2 16gb ram cards?

A: No, it comes with 2 sticks of 8GB of ram. Making a total of 16GB.

Q: Is this compatible with my gaming computer. Alienware x51?

A: Hi, I'm afraid X51 is just a series of computers but not a specific model, please refer to your specific model (if it has an Ivy Bridge CPU I'm finding online you'd be fine with 1333MHz): https://www.dell.com/community/Alienware-General-Read-Only/RAM-Upgrade-on-Alienware-x51-R1/td-p/5537140 If you have anything else we can help with, please reach out: support.corsair.com -Art

Q: I do have an 8Gb RAM card & want to add the remaining 3 slots with these RAM cards, but not sure of its processing speed. If my RAM speed differs from the 1600MHz, will it function properly & smoothly w/o causing any conflicts? Thanks in advance.

A: If your RAM clock speed differs from the 1600 MHz that this Corsair RAM is clocked at, your motherboard's BIOS should reduce the clock speed of whichever RAM sticks are higher clocked to match the lower clocked speed. For example, if you have one stick of RAM that is clocked at 1333 MHz, your motherboard should reduce the speed of this RAM to 1333 MHz. You can also mix CAS latency, but you may have to manually tweak various settings in the BIOS to get it to run stable. Honestly, for the price of RAM, and for as much as you seem to be wanting to add, I'd just replace your current RAM entirely with something new so you do not have to worry about stability issues cause by weird compatibility issues with different RAM sticks.

Q: Will this fit late 2013 trashcan style Mac Pro?

A: It will if your Mac Pro uses DDR3 ram, and is upgradable to use more ram.

Q: Will these work in the two empty slots of an iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014) that requires PC3-12800, Unbuffered Nonparity, 204-pin, 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM These seem to meet all those specs, except they are 240-pin.

A: Hi, You'd need SO-DIMMs: https://everymac.com/systems/apple/imac/specs/imac-core-i5-3.5-27-inch-aluminum-retina-5k-late-2014-specs.html If you have anything else we can help with, please reach out to us directly: support.corsair.com -Art

Q: Will this product work in my Gateway dx4860 ub32p computer

A: Hi Bill, Afraid not, you will need DDR3L for your system. Please look at getting a single one of these modules: CMV4GX3M1A1600C11 If you have any questions please reach out: support.corsair.com
