Good stuff. Corsair ram is reliable and affordable.

I purchased this memory on a bit of a whim because I had returned another unrelated item and this was on sale. I've always wanted RGB RAM even though I know there is no real benefit to it, but this was an upgrade of my 8GB of slower RAM. Capable of doing 3000 MHz, I thought it might bump up my FPS slightly but more so, I was hoping it would help with some multitasking I've been doing. All-in-all, it was a great purchase and I'm happy. However, I made the stupid mistake of NOT checking that my motherboard supports 3000 MHz RAM (and it doesn't), so it's not running at full speed. Still, it's been great and was super-easy to install!

ASUS ROG Maximus X Code mobo i7 8700k OC @ 5ghz 1.31 Vcore To start, these dimms look amazing. the rgb is bright, and with the iCue software, you can change colors, and lighting display with more than a handful of options. Let me say, I bought this kit on a whim while picking up another item, because I got them cheaper than listed price at the time. With that being said, I DID NOT check to see if this specific kit was listed on my motherboards QVL for compatability. After installing the kit, and going into BIOS/UEFI, I enabled XMP, and nothing more. Saved settings, exit...and NOTHING. I reset the board a few times to see if it would train. And loop after loop, always back to POSTFAIL- safety mode. After alot of reading, even more trial & error attemps at changing settings I was able to get into windows, more attempts, and eventually running stable. This was the first time I've had a RAM kit NOT work on XMP right away. HUGE PAIN, let me tell you, as I've overclocked & delid cpu's, and oc GPU many times, but never had to mess with ram before. Ive read countless guides and articles about ram overclocking, timings, etc since, and im actually testing oc stability on another set of RAM i just recently picked up that is samsung b die IC kit because of all ive learned since. TL;DR; If you dont have the time or want to go down the rabbit hole that is RAM timings, and settings, CHECK YOUR MOBOS QVL before buying to make sure its listed so no headaches! Product was easy to install, like any other ram. So far I haven't had any problems. After installation, the product was actually clocked at 3000mhz, unlike other ram sticks I've had before. Feels like good quality and performs multiple tasks very well. The RGB really puts a nice touch on my build. Definitely recommend.

What can you say about memory other than it does what it's supposed to. Well this particular memory does it with bling. While it may seem frivolous it's a must have if you're building or adding on to a gaming pc with tempered glass case side panel. The ability to program not only colors but also the lighting pattern is pretty cool.

This Ram is a great solution for the gamer on a budget, easy to install XMP ready out the box. Had this ram for 4 months and nothing crazy highly recommended

I have a lot of the Corsair RGB products and this ram works great with the ICUE software. I only got the 16GB module but will get another 16GB in the future to fill out my RAM slots. Plus with RAM prices being so low it was over 100 dollars less than the Corsair RAM I had in my system when I built it over a year and a half ago.
