Great skillet - bad description
This is not a 5.5qt saute' pan with cover as the description would suggest. This is the stainless, disk bottom, chef's classic 12" open skillet without cover (722-30h). I knew this was the open skillet when I purchased it due to the part number. I would not have been happy if I were expecting a saute pan with cover. The skillet heats evenly. It is tough, oven proof, and very good for searing meat and making pan sauces. If you are not accustomed to cooking in stainless do some research before buying; it is much different than non-stick.

Great pan
Its a nice large pan for cooking. Heats up well and is built to last.

Very nice
This is a great skillet for the money. Food cooks evenly and no issues. Cleans up fast as well just as long as right when you are done you was the pan.
