Cuisinart - Refurbished Grind & Brew 12-Cup Automatic Coffeemaker - Black Chrome

This is a reasonably priced grind and brew that makes good coffee, but in a high-humidity climate, the ground beans get wet and sticky and make a mess. It is also super loud! When I was grinding beans and set it up to start automatically in the morning, it woke up the whole house sounding like a jet taking off. For these reasons, I never use whole beans anymore.Thankfully, there is a bypass feature that allows you to use ground coffee. Next time I would either buy a cheaper, regular drip coffee maker or a more expensive grind and brew.

I love that the coffee pot automatically grinds the beans, brews excellent coffee, One drawback is that moisture gets in the grinder chamber causing me to have to clean it every time.

We love our new coffee pot. Grinder works great, easy to clean and excellent rain shower head makes perfect coffee. Plate super heats and keeps coffe hot. Only minus, you have to let the grinder run the full cycle. My old one allowed me to switch to brew mode after the sound of the beans were compete.

My wife and I received our first one as a wedding gift 13 years ago. It is still working perfectly. I recently purchased this one for my office. Easy to use, easy cleanup, built in grinder is perfect. Coffee stays hot for hours. Very strongly recommended

Quite, efficient, durable, overall good for the price

I wanted a coffee maker that gave me the option of using whole beans or pre-ground coffee. I also wanted a timer option because I get up very early and need my coffee ready to go. This maker hit the bulls eye. My only negative comment is that if you choose the option of pre-ground beans, you still have to clean the grinder portion due to condensation and residual coffee being shot up in that area.

To make coffee, fill the carafe with water and pour into the water chamber. Fill the grinding cup with coffee beans and install the top of the grind cup. Close the lid and touch the "on button" and get ready for that first wonderful cup of coffee. To clean it, put all removable parts into the dishwasher and wipe the inside of the coffeemaker with a damp cloth. If cleanliness is not your bag, buy the black machine and you can not see the coffee stains.
