A: The OLD, Traditional way of doing things. REGISTER By MAIL!!! One would think that DACOR would be technologically more advance by now. The website registration page does not work for the refrigerator I paid over $3G. The system does not have the refrigerator model in its database; thus, it would yield an error message. After numerous unsuccessful attempts, I gave up. I called the 800 number on the back of the product manual and spoke with Customer Service Rep. She told me the ONLY WAY to register product for warranty is to fill out and mail in the card on the back of the product manual. I hope they received my registration by mail by now.
Q: Does the water and ice dispenser have a filter?
A: Update to my previous answer. The water filter replacement light came on and tried to order the official Dacor filter, but there seem to be delays and requires a scheduled appointment to deliver instead of simple shipping as expected. Decided to pull out the existing water filter and it is apparently a Samsung DA97-17376B which can be acquired at a much lower price if you look around including options for other replacement brands (eg. Waterdrop). The OEM Dacor filter does not seem to be available and drastically overpriced considering the alternatives including the one that was actually installed in my fridge from the factory.
Q: How do you open the fridge if there are no handles?
A: There are hidden lips to grab at both top and bottom of main doors and top of each drawer.
Q: Does this Dacor model have zero clearance doors?
A: The doors open as any other of that size. It clears the counter tops, yes! I kinda miss the door handles.. I'm used to the handles... But I'm getting used to it. Hope this helps you.

Q: Specs states height to top of hinge is 70". What is the height to top of case?
A: Ours stands about 70 1/8" from floor to top of fridge. Had to sand down the lip of our cabinets to fit it and its snug, but worth the effort. It's an amazing fridge so far.

Q: Is there ice in the lower freezer as well as the door?
A: Sorry but no. I thought the same from one of the pictures I saw, but the ice maker is above, and feeds through the door for cubed and crushed. It all work quite well. You can periodically remove the ice bin from above and dump it into the ice storage tray below in the freezer to keep extra ice on hand. I absolutely love the refrigerator otherwise. Produce stays super fresh because of the way the evaporator system works.
