What is DALI? Allow me to explain!
If you were/are like me, you most likely asked yourself that same question! DALI stand for Danish Audiophile Loudspeaker Industries. Which is a company from outside the US. They apparently focus on higher end quality products aimed at those with an ear for audiophile sound products. Which I consider myself. I love high quality audio and hifi audio. So much so I pay 20$ a month for Tidal HIFI (which I recommend). This Dali Katch speaker is by all means a high fidelity audio speaker. A 360 degree speaker at that. Smallish drivers built into a rather slim chassis puts out way more sound than I expected. Loud crisp and clear. Bass on the warm setting is deep and solid for its size. Mid range is crystal clear. Highs are solid on the warm setting. But even more solid on the clear setting. Vocals come across a bit more strong but it all depends on what genre you are playing. You have to find the sweet spot while listening to your favorite music. I change from one to the other frequently. Pairing this to your device is quick. Simply turn on and literally 3 seconds later my phone found the Katch speaker. Nice. Never lost connection even at 30-40 feet away. No lag while using to watch YouTube videos or hulu. Tho I will say this speaker is overkill for watching on my phone. Plus I listen to a lot of music. Like hours a day. Battery life seems great. I charged to about 75% and I used it all day about 6 hours and still have about 25%. You can charge and external device with the included USB port. And you can plug your auxiliary wire into the 3.5mm jack as well. If you don’t want to use Bluetooth. See pics below. The leather strap is very nice. Real leather I believe. Comes I. Handy moving this around since it is portable. Ps-If you are thinking miss green looks weird in the online stock pictures. You aren’t wrong. But in person it looks beautiful IMO. I like the contrast between the colors. People say it both sounds amazing and look high end. Price is high. But for what you get it’s a no brained. So long as you like hifi like I do.

Wow - what a speaker!
The Dali portable bluetooth speaker is without a doubt one of the best sounding speakers I have ever heard. I consider myself to be a semi-audiophile person with pretty high standards for speakers. This speaker did not disappoint! The speaker puts out amazing, high quality sound at all volumes and with either setting - "Clear" or "Warm." Personally, I found myself using the Warm setting more often as I use this speaker primarily for music and the sound seems fuller and, well, warmer. The setup of this Bluetooth speaker is simple to do and I was able to connect it to various devices (iPhones/iPads, an Android phone, my Mac laptop, and even my TV). The carrying sleeve/case is also very premium feeling and useful. I usually write reviews in a Pros/Cons/Bottom Line format - but there really aren't cons worth writing about for this Dali speaker. I am not a huge fan of the moss green color, but many may like it for the retro feel. I know this speaker is available in other colors - the moss green was the only one available to me for the review. But, color aside, I really must say this is quite a speaker. Worth the price? Probably. I would most decidedly recommend this to anyone looking for an amazingly powerful speaker with outstanding sound quality.

Amazing quality for the size
I am still trying to wrap my head around how Dali was able to get this much volume, clarity, and bass from a speaker this size. Pairing to my phone was straightforward and just as easy as any other bluetooth speaker. Charging is quick and easy with the provided cable. I have used this speaker to listen to multiple genres of music, and every time I tried something new, I was left impressed with the overall quality of the sound. Most bluetooth speakers, especially ones in this size range, typically do not have impressive bass. While this speaker will never rattle the walls with punchy bass, it still fills the room with sound, and does a great job making the bass seem like it is coming from a much larger speaker. This Dali Katch has been perfect for weekend house cleaning, working on projects in the garage, and having friends over for drinks. The sound always fills the room, and the battery life has been great. I also like that this speaker is pretty flat, so it's easy to toss in a backpack and take with me anywhere.
