DO NOT BUY
Posted .No, I would not recommend this to a friendDo not buy this computer. I bought it as an open box deal and within a few months, it completely crashed. I took it in to Geek Squad and it was under warranty, so they sent it off and had to replace the motherboard. I only used the computer once a month to create invoices. Never saved anything to the computer itself.. all of my data was saved to a flash drive. The motherboard has now crashed AGAIN, but the computer is no longer under warranty. Best Buy is wanting more than half of what I paid for the computer originally to have it replaced. Dell claimed Geek Squad should have sent them directly to Dell originally and that they cannot help because the warranty is expired. I refuse to get the motherboard replaced again because there is obviously an issue that keeps causing it to go out. I bought the computer 14 months ago. Ridiculous.

Quality1 out of 5Value1 out of 5Ease of Use1 out of 5I had to buy a computer quickly as I was told I was working from home effective immediately. I purchased this only to use to RDP into my work computer - it stalled, it lagged, it disconnected, too slow to even load a webpage; opened Notepad and it crashed. Spent $200 to upgrade modem - another wasted $200. Bought a new Lenovo for slightly more that what I paid for this piece of junk and having absolutely no problems. Don't know how they can even sell something this absolutely useless. $700 gone.

Quality1 out of 5Value1 out of 5Ease of Use1 out of 5This computer has been horrible. We have completely stopped using it. We barely used it and same complaints as everyone else. It is incredibly slow. Cannot use for basic google searches or email, it is that bad. Such a waste of money. Disappointed we were mislead by the Best Buy salesman that this purchase would be good for our family. Now we have no working desktop for our kids to do their homeschooling due to covid-19.

Posted .TonL,
Thanks for your review and we're sorry to hear that your computer is performing slower than you hoped it would. We'd recommend running the Dell SupportAssist App to make sure that all of your software and drivers are up to date.
We'd also recommend trying the Windows Performance Troubleshooter to see if there are ways for your computer to perform better for you:
1. Close all open windows.
2. Press the Windows logo key + X key on the keyboard.
3. Click Control Panel.
4. Click System and Security.
5. Under Security and Maintenance, select Troubleshoot common problems.
6. Under System and Security, click Run maintenance tasks.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions and prompts to complete the process.
8. Restart the PC.

Not even worth 10 dollars.
Posted .No, I would not recommend this to a friendThis computer takes ages to load the desktop and freezes repeatedly. It is only good for Roblox and taking 20 minutes to open file explorer. The good part is that you get a wired keyboard/ mouse and a wireless keyboard and mouse. The webroot security is as strong as paper, along with never leaving your computer. Overall I not recommended unless if you want the keyboards and mice, although I can't find out how to replace the batteries.

Posted .Random,
Thanks for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your computer is not starting up right away for you. We'd recommend limiting the number of programs that launch at startup by following these steps:
1. Close all open windows.
2. Press CTRL + Shift + ESC key together on the keyboard.
3. In the Task Manager window, click Startup tab.
4. Select the program or application that you want to disable from loading during startup.
5. Right-click and select Disable.
6. Repeat Step 4 & 5 for all the programs or applications that you want to disable from loading during startup.
7. Restart your PC.

If your computer is still freezing on you, we'd recommend the following:
1. Run a Computer Diagnostic. To determine if your computer is experiencing a hardware problem, run the Dell Preboot System Assessment (PSA) Diagnostics. For information on how to run Diagnostics, and to determine the issue, refer to Dell Knowledge Base Article: http://dell.to/2iaiujA.
2. Check Safe Mode for Symptoms. To boot into safe mode, please follow the instructions below:
a) Start the computer.
b) Tap 'F8' on the keyboard immediately and every one second until the Dell logo screen disappears. From there you will see the Windows Advanced Options Menu on the screen. (If the Windows Advanced Options Menu does not appear, restart the system and try again.)
c) Select Safe mode with Networking and press Enter.
d) Log on as the administrator or as a user with administrative access.
e) Open applications and test the computer in safe mode. If the symptoms exist in safe mode, please continue the troubleshooting steps in this article. If the symptoms do not exist in safe mode, the issue is likely related to a driver or software and you may wish to complete step 3 to see if you are able to resolve the lockups or freezing.
3. Check for Malware. Malware (Virus, Spyware, etc.) can definitely cause a Windows system to lock up or appear to hang. To check for malware on your system and to ensure that your computer is up to date on security software, visit Dell Knowledge Base Article: http://dell.to/2wWP1zI.

Quality1 out of 5Value2 out of 5Ease of Use2 out of 5I had bought this computer about 2 years ago, 3 months ago the computer just stopped working. I'm not a tech dude but it had something to do with the motherboard. It cost about $250 to have it fixed by the Geek Squad. I am not happy with that computer.
