Q: Does the price include the power stand?
A: The power stand is not included and has to be purchased separately. I do have the stand and really love it. When it is stationary on the desk it helps the computer sit higher so I don't have to look down at the screen.

A: The way you can tell battery life for the 3 different processors and years, is to find out what generation you have. The first number after the i3, i5, or i7 processors, will tell you what generation. For instance, the i3-3217u is a 3rd generation processor.. hence the 3 after the i3. To answer your question about battery life, it really depends on usage; USB ports being used, Wireless, bluetooth, gaming, web surfing, etc. Realistically laptops in this day and age usually get anywhere to 3.5-4.5 hours of battery usage per charge.
