A: Espresso, being ground to fine.... I have the opposite problem. The shot is not strong enough!

Q: Can you brew normal coffee on it?
A: It depends what you mean by normal coffee, but you can certainly enjoy a strong cup of coffee by simply loading any type of grounds (need not be espresso) into the holder and letting the water run as long as you need to full your cup. It's a great way to enjoy a quick, but tasty cup!
A: Hi, the water storage tank is polypropylene #5. Also, the water gets pumped into the heating element tank. I believe that the heating element tank is stainless steel.
Q: are the sides of the machine real stainless steel or stainless steel colored plastic.
