Worse kitchen tool ever. I've had other food slicers and this one was the worse right out of t he box. Couldn;t even slice a ham.

Gift for my son-in-law and he loves it!

I had originally purchased a different slicer for my son-in-law as a Christmas present, which I just wasn't completely convinced it was the right one. It was cheap plastic and overpriced. So I bought this slicer online, half the price of the first one, just days before Christmas. It arrived in plenty of time and I returned the first one. I couldn't believe the durabilityof this slicer. My S-I-L uses it frequently for preparing jerky and is very happy with his gift!
I would recommend this to a friend
