Makes My Home Theater Complete.
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I have owned Denon for over 20 years and the X6700H is the best to date. It check marks every box for great options. Power is good but I added 3 separate amps to turn it into 13 channels. Best Buy gave me 10% discount for my loyalty which made it even better. Ordered right before Christmas and it got here 2-3 days which made me really happy. The family loves watching movies with a full Atmos system now. Denon you did it again. I’m very happy with this AVR and would recommend this unit to anyone.

- A:Answer To clarify, all of our 8K / HDMI 2.1 models are having an issue with one specific 4K/120 source device. All other 4K/120 and 8K source devices are passing those resolutions through the AVR properly. For the one 4K/120 source, we will have a solution coming very soon. Regarding some X6700Hs that used substitute capacitors, this was very early on in production. To find out if your unit has sub caps installed, please contact our Support team and provide them with your serial #. At this point now, any retailer should be selling X6700Hs with the original caps installed.

- A:Answer Hello and thank you for your question. Both receivers are more then capable of providing audio nirvana in ones home theater. The AVR-X8500HA is the worlds first receiver to offer 13.2 channels and offers IMAX Enhanced. The 8500 also provides a little more power for demanding speakers.

Q: QuestionI am looking to buy a new Denon 6700H but all of them for sale say they are a 2020 model. Does this mean they were made in 2020 and will still have this hdmi 8k bug or are they newly made but just made as a 2020 model as there was not a newer model made

- A:Answer Hello and thank you for your question. 2020 was the original release date of the model. The need for the free HDMI adapter is only required for early released models for playback of 4K/120 Gaming consoles. New models do not require the HDMI adapter. The AVR-X6700H is a current model still in production.
